Odom’s Lawn Care and Tree Service is looking for someone with lawn care and tree work experience to include experience using a chainsaw and pole saw, running ropes, raking, and blowing debris. Experience operating a tractor with grapple. Experience maintaining equipment to include sharpening saws, changing oil and other fluids on saws, tractor, lift/bucket, vehicles. Experience operating and maintain lawn equipment to include lawn mower, weed eater, blower, edger, pressure washer. Must have a driver’s license, CDL preferred but not required. Must have transportation to and from work. Must be on time, hours are Tuesday through Friday 7:30 to 5. Occasional Monday, some overtime and weekend work may be required. Guest Services Representative (Monticello, Florida)

The Guest Services Representative fulfills a variety of customer service needs at the front desk check-in area which supports the successful operation of all Campground operations and activities in Monticello, Florida. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual works closely with maintenance, groundskeeping, pool staff and volunteers to provide the park’s overnight guests with the most enjoyable experience. As the first impression of the park, it is important that the Guest Services Representative treats all visitors with kindness, empathy, and respect at all times. This job involves interacting with visitors, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive experience for guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check-In Process: Provide a seamless check-in process for campground guests by compiling check-in information in advance, collecting any payments owed, and explaining park operational changes that may impact the visitor experience.

  • Reservations and Inquiries: Assist future guests with reservations via phone and email, as well as respond to general inquiries about the Campground and other surrounding facilities. 

  • Currency Handling: Follow procedures for collecting and handling currency and credit card information.

  • Gate Monitoring: Monitor campground and self-storage entrance activities.

  • Facility Inspections: Inspect campground facilities, identify maintenance needs and hazards, complete minor facility repairs, and submit work orders as needed.

  • Safety Enforcement: Enforce all safety rules in and around the campground, contacting security and law enforcement rangers as needed.

  • Local Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of general park information and answer guest questions and offer local recommendations.

  • Reservation System: Build proficiency with the reservation system and point-of-sale system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively using email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

  • Availability to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.

  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with fellow employees and senior management.

  • Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management skills.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior customer service experience is desired but not required.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, crouch, walk, talk, and hear. They must also use their hands to operate a computer and phone and reach with their hands and arms. Occasionally, lifting and/or moving over 30 pounds may be necessary.
