The Chamber Wants to Help Grow Your Business

The Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is proud to support local entrepreneurs with a Small Business Grant program. Each quarter, the Chamber will award two $500 grants to small business members with five or fewer employees. These grants are designed to foster the growth, development, and sustainability of local businesses, helping them thrive in our unique, mostly rural community.

Grant Categories

Successful applicants can use grant funds in the following ways:

Advertising: Invest in signage, vehicle wraps, or website updates.
Equipment: Upgrade software or essential tools for your business.
Education: Enroll in classes or earn certifications to boost your skills.
Licensing: Cover the costs of necessary business licenses.
Building Improvements: Make enhancements to your physical space.

What the Grant Can’t Cover

Please note that grants cannot be used for employee bonuses, debt repayment, or projects unrelated to business improvement.
